Qualifications
Please do not submit an application unless you can answer yes to the following questions. If the answers are yes then click on the application form link above.
- Has your site been in existence for at least three months?
- Do motorcycle related posts comprise more than 60% of the content of your site?
- Do your posts contain mostly original commentary by you as opposed to material from other sources?
- Do you post regularly?
What MBI is:
- An informal association of motorcycle and motor scooter bloggers
- The organizer of annual Riders Choice Awards
- A place to exchange ideas with like minded people
What MBI is not:
- A way to get more traffic/hits/revenue for your site
- A way to get known or improve your ranking
- A policy agency, dictating and enforcing policies
- A for-profit association
As a member of the MBI, you:
- are expected the participate as much as possible as a group
- log into the forums on a regular basis to keep current with what is going on
- are expected to help out in MBI matters
- are expected to promote MBI actions
- are required to:
- Write an introductory post in the Introductions forum
- Write 2 posts on your blog each year: (1) announcing the opening of nominations, (2) announcing the beginning of voting.
- Vote on the following ballots each year: (1) which categories are to be included in the awards, (2) which nominations are to be included on the final awards ballot, (3) the final voting for the awards.
What will MBI do for you?

- Give you a chance to communicate with like-minded people all around the world
- Give you a sounding board for any ideas
- Assist you with your blogging efforts
