About MBI

Motorcycle Blogger International is an informal association of people who ride motorcyles or scooters and write about it. Members come from all walks of life and cultures. But they have two things in common: they enjoy riding and writing about it. We currently have 202 members.

Members must maintain a blog with the majority of the content being related to motorcycles or scooters, and must have been doing so for at least three months. Membership requests from inactive sites and sites without original commentary are not accepted.

Members are encourged to display the MBI logo on their site. There are no required dues or other financial obligations. Website and awards costs are offset by voluntary donations.

About The Awards

The MBI Riders Choice awards are given for events, actions by a person or group and new products sold for the first time during the award year.

We want to recognize both the best and worst within the motorcycling world so there are two types of awards: Star and Fallen Star. The former is for noteworthy achievement and the latter for serious lapse of judgement.

Nominations are submitted by MBI members and the motorcycle riding public. MBI members then select five finalists in each category. MBI members and the public then vote for their choice in each category.
